BRISTOL FESTIVAL VOLUNTEERS
The Bristol Festival has been running for more than one hundred years and is now supported entirely by the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. From the early stages of planning right through to tidying up at the end of the event, volunteers are the lifeblood of our Festival.
Running a Festival is a complex task and we rely heavily on our volunteers. This is why we need your help – perhaps you could join our team? It takes just a little of your time and it need not be a major commitment on your part.
WHAT CAN I DO?
Some of the areas we need help with include selling tickets and programmes, preparing Festival venues and seating, showing participants to the rehearsal and performance areas, assisting the adjudicators, preparing and selling refreshments, IT expertise, publicity and fundraising.
If you have experience in leading and managing teams, why not consider a leadership and management role as a Trustee of the Bristol Eisteddfod Association?
Your assistance at our Festival provides the opportunity for our participants to perform in public, benefit from specialist feedback and even win a trophy or two! It gives you the opportunity to see them in performance and to support them. This is a great way of meeting and working with people who enjoy the performing arts as much as you do!
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
There is an online sign up sheet if you would like to volunteer to help in the Bristol Festival. You can see which festival days have fewer volunteers than others – so please sign up to fill the gaps! Your name will be public and but your phone and email will remain confidential.
We strive to make the Bristol Festival an enjoyable experience for all. Please help us keep the Festival going for another hundred years. If you are interested in signing up as a volunteer, you can be reassured that we are a friendly and welcoming group!

BRISTOL FESTIVAL FRIENDS (BFF)
If you would like to support us, please consider becoming a friend of the Bristol Festival. The annual membership fee is £20 and you will receive a ticket to the Celebration Concert and a complimentary Concert Programme.
